The nose on the Abita IPA displayed alot more fruit character than I expect from your typical IPA. It wasn't off-putting, but not the norm. The taste wasn't anything to write home about, but I guess I'm reviewing it. I didn't mind it at first, but the finish was more sour, almost like a hefeweizen. All in all, I generally love pales and IPAs especially, Abita's was one that I didn't care for at all. It was off, from beginning (lemony smell) to end (super odd sour finish). Sorry Emeril, this IPA left a lot to be desired.
