Now this is a Christmas Beer!
Pours a dark, cola color with effervescent bubbles and thick, creamy taupe head that lasts and lasts.
The nose is brilliant. Warm pumpkin bread with coffee and a hint of pine. My palate loves this beer. Lots of molasses and a homestyle biscuity flavor. Perfection! Anchor Xmas is thick and bubbly without being cloying. Thoroughly enjoyable. A nice cyprus tree on the label. We have this winter warmer in both six packs and magnums. Yes, magnums, just like Dr. Toboggan.
